Al Abraaj Restaurant Group.

Manama, Bahrain.

Established in 1987, Al Abraaj Restaurant Group is a household name in Bahrain with a reputation for delivering excellence in the casual dining segment operating 8 brands over 40 outlets including restaurants, cafes, home delivery and a catering division.  Brands including their eponymous restaurant Al Abraaj, Casual Dining Brand Lumee and the franchise of London brand San Carlo Cicchetti.

Auden hospitality worked alongside Owner Hamad Isa and the team to undertake a strategic review of their existing tech stack, create a monthly reporting format for their marketing activity and build an Operations manual for their brands.

The Project.

Tech Stack Strategic Review.

Working with the Al Abraaj team, Auden assisted the team to identify, carrying out diligence and implementing key tech platforms that could be implemented into the business to help consolidate data from the restaurants to the central office.  This included inventory, Human Resources Management, an online training portal and H&S compliance. Through this process, the teams, alongside the tech partners were able to trial and launch the systems such as H&S compliance across all locations within 12 weeks.


Marketing Reporting Format.

Through our data-driven advisory services, Auden was able to review the existing information that was being generated through the marketing activity taking place and create a short report for the owners to review every month. The report showed the most engaging social posts, website traffic, 13-month trend reviews on follower numbers, online guest reviews and advert spend vs revenue comparison.  


Auden mentored the marketing team through the process to ensure the templates had relevant and complete information and more importantly were not time-consuming to complete over the 8 brands.


Operations Manuals.

Auden worked with the team at Al Abraaj to complete the operating manual template for their brands completing the Lumee Street Café manual with them to be able to implement it into the owned and franchised operations.The project saw the teams develop the look and feel of the brands and put that into short topics of information to be easily used by the brand teams. Auden uses this format of creating manuals into multiple documents to ensure the teams have the information relevant to them and therefore become a more valuable source of knowledge for the site teams than the traditional large format, all-encompassing documents.
